What is an Anodized 80% Lower Receiver?
You can rest assured of quality with this Anodized 80% Lower Receiver. All of our products are made in Greer, SC in our precision machine shop.
With an 80% lower, it is often referred to as a “paperweight” or a “ghost gun”. Until you complete your build, the 80% lower is not considered a firearm or a complete receiver. Because it’s not a firearm, no FFL is necessary to buy, ship, or receive the product.
When the lower comes anodized, as ours does here, it has had a protective coat created by oxidizing the aluminum. This is sometimes also referred to as a hard coat. The anodization helps to protect the lower from wear and tear, as well as any potential corrosion.

With an 80% forged lower, there is no serial or registration required since it is not a firearm. If you live in a not-so-friendly gun state, be sure you are well aware of the laws before purchasing.

There are of course many options out there for buying an 80% lower. But if you want a high quality mil spec lower at a very fair price, I 100% recommend PSD. After milling, the fit with my upper was perfect.

Great product but I want to comment on the customer service. When I ordered my lowers website said 2 weeks it shipped right on time. The issue was when ups delivered. They left it at the wrong house. I contacted psd had a reply before noon. They shipped a replacement in 2 days no questions asked. Would definitely buy again.
